For some people it’s not always possible to visit te area where operation Market Garden took place. Families of the deceased do not live close and a trip can be costly. Veterans and eyewitnesses of operation Market Garden are aging fast and those people we would like to help with certain requests.

   Grave photography

In the area where operation Market Garden took place there are several military cemeteries. These are the final restingplaces for soldiers, sailors and airmen from the commomwealth countries Britain, Canada, New Zeeland and australia and all the other countries that had forces serving in the Netherlands.

The American cemeteries are in the southern part of the Netherlands (Margraten) and the northern part of Belgium (Henri-Chapelle and Ardennes). There is a Polish cemetery near Breda(Ned). German cemeteries are located in Ysselsteyn(Ned) and Lommel(B). There are also numerous monuments and memorials for civilian casualties.
